1. Who May Use Voice of Reason

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Voice of Reason.

By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

2. What Voice of Reason Is

Voice of Reason is a personal wellness and reflective-support application designed to help users slow down, explore what is on their minds, gain perspective, journal, meditate, save meaningful reflections, and reconnect with their own insight.

Voice of Reason uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized conversational responses.

The Service may also include features such as:

• Reflective AI conversations
• Journaling
• Meditation and mindfulness content
• Emotional check-ins
• Saved reflections and guidance
• Memory and personalization features
• Voice transcription
• Other wellness and self-reflection tools

Features may change or evolve as Voice of Reason develops.

3. Voice of Reason Is Not Professional Care

Voice of Reason is a general wellness and reflective-support tool.

It is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, psychiatric care, diagnosis, legal advice, financial advice, or another licensed professional service.

Using Voice of Reason does not create a therapist-client, physician-patient, attorney-client, or other professional relationship with Inner Workings LLC, its owner, employees, contractors, or affiliates.

Even if an individual associated with Inner Workings LLC holds a professional license outside the app, use of Voice of Reason does not establish a professional treatment relationship with that individual.

Voice of Reason should not be used as a substitute for care from an appropriately qualified professional when professional services are needed.

4. Artificial Intelligence

Voice of Reason uses artificial intelligence to generate conversational responses and certain personalization features.

AI-generated responses may sometimes be incomplete, inaccurate, unexpected, or inappropriate for your particular circumstances.

You remain responsible for deciding how to interpret or use information provided through the Service.

Voice of Reason is designed to support reflection and perspective. Decisions regarding your relationships, health, finances, legal matters, safety, or other significant areas of your life remain your responsibility.

5. Emergencies and Crisis Situations

Voice of Reason is not an emergency response or crisis-monitoring service.

The Service may include automated functionality designed to recognize certain crisis-related language and provide safety-oriented messaging. This functionality is limited and should not be relied upon to identify every emergency or crisis situation.

Voice of Reason is not continuously monitored by a human professional.

If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency services or qualified crisis resource.

6. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.

You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless the activity results from circumstances outside your reasonable control.

Please contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

7. Your Content

You may provide content through Voice of Reason, including conversations, journal entries, check-ins, voice input, saved information, and other material (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your original User Content.

You give Inner Workings LLC permission to process, store, transmit, and use your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, personalize, and provide Voice of Reason to you.

This permission does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Inner Workings LLC.

Information about how User Content is processed and shared with service providers is provided in our Privacy Policy.

8. Privacy

Your use of Voice of Reason is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Because users may voluntarily share sensitive or personal information through Voice of Reason, we encourage you to review the Privacy Policy before using the Service.

The Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, which service providers may process information, and the choices available to you.

9. Memory and Personalization

Voice of Reason may offer an optional memory feature that allows the Service to maintain continuity between conversations.

When enabled, the system may create or retain relevant information based on your conversations, preferences, check-ins, or other interactions.

You may have controls that allow you to review, edit, confirm, delete, or disable memory information.

10. Subscription and Pricing

Voice of Reason may initially be available through free early access.

When paid subscriptions launch, the planned subscription price is:

$2.99 per month

Paid subscriptions may automatically renew each month unless canceled before the next renewal date.

The price and subscription terms displayed at the time you subscribe will govern your purchase.

We may change subscription pricing or offerings in the future. Any changes will be disclosed as required before they affect your subscription.

11. App Store and Google Play Purchases

If you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another third-party marketplace, your purchase may also be governed by that marketplace's applicable billing, subscription, cancellation, and refund terms.

The applicable marketplace may process your payment and manage aspects of your subscription.

Inner Workings LLC does not receive your complete payment-card information when payment is processed entirely through an app marketplace.

12. Cancellation

You may cancel a paid Voice of Reason subscription at any time.

Unless applicable law or the marketplace through which you purchased the subscription provides otherwise, cancellation stops future renewal charges and your paid access continues through the end of the billing period for which you have already paid.

If you subscribed through an app marketplace, you may need to cancel through the subscription-management tools provided by that marketplace.

Deleting the Voice of Reason app from your device does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.

13. Refunds

Subscription payments are generally nonrefundable once charged, except where a refund is required by applicable law or provided under the policies of the marketplace through which you purchased your subscription.

Apple, Google, or another marketplace may independently approve refunds according to its own policies.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

14. Early Access

Voice of Reason may make some features available through an early-access, preview, beta, or testing period.

Early-access features may change, contain errors, be temporarily unavailable, or operate differently from later production versions.

Free early access does not guarantee that the Service will remain free.

If early access transitions to a paid subscription, you will be informed of the applicable price and subscription terms before being charged.

15. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Voice of Reason lawfully and responsibly.

You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another person's account or information
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Attempt to bypass security protections
• Reverse engineer or improperly extract protected portions of the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Use automated systems to overload, scrape, or abuse the Service
• Use the Service to violate applicable law or the rights of another person
• Attempt to use Voice of Reason to develop, train, or reproduce a competing service through unauthorized extraction of its protected content or systems

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, Inner Workings LLC, or the Service.

16. Voice of Reason Content and Intellectual Property

The Voice of Reason name, branding, design, software, original prompts, written materials, meditations, exercises, graphics, interfaces, and other original content provided through the Service are owned by or licensed to Inner Workings LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Your subscription or access gives you a personal, limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the Service for your own lawful personal use.

It does not transfer ownership of Voice of Reason intellectual property to you.

17. Availability and Changes to the Service

We want Voice of Reason to be available when you need it, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party service interruptions, updates, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may add, modify, improve, replace, or discontinue features as Voice of Reason develops.

If a material change affects a paid subscription, we will provide notice when required by applicable law or marketplace requirements.

18. Third-Party Services

Voice of Reason relies on third-party technology and infrastructure providers to provide portions of the Service.

These may include AI providers, hosting services, databases, authentication providers, email providers, transcription services, and app marketplaces.

Use of certain features may therefore involve processing by third parties as described in our Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for third-party services to the extent their operation is outside our reasonable control.

19. Account Termination and Deletion

You may delete your Voice of Reason account through available account controls.

Deleting your account removes associated personal information from the active Voice of Reason database as described in our Privacy Policy.

Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions.

If you have an active paid subscription through an app marketplace, deleting your Voice of Reason account may not automatically cancel that marketplace subscription. You should separately cancel the subscription through the applicable marketplace when required.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these Terms, threaten the security of the Service, misuse the Service, or create a substantial risk of harm to Voice of Reason or other users.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Voice of Reason is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that every AI-generated response will be accurate, appropriate, complete, or useful for every person or circumstance.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Nothing in this section limits rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Inner Workings LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Voice of Reason.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of:

(a) the amount you paid to Inner Workings LLC for Voice of Reason during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or

(b) $50.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

22. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Inner Workings LLC from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Service or material violation of these Terms.

This provision does not require you to indemnify Inner Workings LLC for its own unlawful conduct, negligence, or other liability that cannot legally be shifted to you.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer rights available under the laws that apply to you.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Voice of Reason evolves or as legal, operational, or technical requirements change.

When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate or legally required.

Your continued use of Voice of Reason after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable subscription or marketplace terms presented to you at purchase, constitute the agreement between you and Inner Workings LLC regarding your use of Voice of Reason.
